The smart tote™

The Smart Tote is built in partnership with UTZ for closed-loop distribution. Presence and lid open/close detection are built into the UTZ tote, and a handheld reader, a gateway or a tracker travelling with the load picks it up as it moves.

You can see which totes are still at a store and collect them on a route you are already running, and you can see which deliveries were opened on the way: the lid locks so the sides are harder to pull open, and each opening is recorded with a time and a place.
